The Institute comprises the University of Adelaide, Cranfield University, Flinders University and the University of South Australia. Together they provide a unique capability, with a significant proportion of their courses delivered at post-graduate level across a range of relevant subject areas in defence and security, medicine and public health, engineering, the social sciences, management and leadership, climate change and sustainability, environmental studies and enabling disciplines.

The Institute will draw on existing courses and research by the four partner universities, where necessary by adapting such courses and research to reflect local resilience requirements. New courses and elective modules will be introduced to meet the needs of students, and new research streams will be developed to meet the needs of the Institute’s donors and other clients.

The Institute will work with other universities, institutes, organisations and individuals who can bring world-class thinking on resilience.
